Make Waves accounts are free to use. There is no monthly or annual subscription or different plans offering different features. You could sign up and get your music out right now.
The only things we ask for are 5% of your revenue and we hold back the first 4000 streams on a yearly basis. It doesn’t matter whether this is for a single, EP or album. Make Waves will pay out 95% of your royalties and use the remaining 5% to cover processing, transaction and accounting costs. There's also a one time payment of €1, this is to cover the costs of setting up your account and to verify you are in fact a human.
There is a balance in your Make Waves account where you can request a payout, under 'Wallet'. You can request this at any time you want, when your balance is over 10 EUR / USD / GBP. It normally takes only a few working days for the money to arrive in your bank or PayPal account.
You can expect to start receiving your generated royalties around 2-3 months after a release has gone live.
