Choose the most exciting 30 seconds of your upcoming song. This should be the part that grabs attention and leaves people wanting more. Cut that section from your original audio file.
Create a separate release just for the snippet. It needs its own UPC and ISRC code, as a snippet is considered a variant of the original. You can follow the setup instructions in our manual. When delivering the snippet, make sure to select only Facebook and Instagram and TikTok as the platforms. We recommend publishing the snippet between 1 and 2 weeks before the release of the full song. To ensure your snippet goes live on time, please deliver your snippet at least two weeks before the snippet’s release date to Make Waves, as these platforms often take longer to process content due to their review and quality checks.
Instagram and TikTok will review your snippet. Once approved, they’ll schedule it to go live on your selected date.
