You've done it, you've set up your release, everything has been uploaded and you have filled everything in, you press deliver and oh-oh. You realise you've uploaded "version5ofyourartwork.jpg" and not "finalfinalversionofyourartwork.jpg". What to do? No problem, you can still update certain fields and then send an update to all stores to reflect these changes, you don't have to create a whole new product.
You can then go in and update the release. These are the things you cannot update in the existing release:
- You can't add new tracks, after you have already delivered your release.
- You can't change the tracklist order, after you have already delivered your release.
- You can't update the UPC / barcode or the track ISRCs, if you have filled this in yourself.
If you want to update any of the above, please create a brand new product and then afterwards trigger a takedown for the 'incorrect' product.
Anything else can still be updated: the artwork file, audio file, adding a new artist, updating the artist roles, adding lyrics, adding contributors or publishers, etc. Once you've made the required changes, you can send another delivery which means the update is sent to all stores. It can take up to 5 days for the changes to be reflected.
